Jeezy and Jeannie Mai Jenkins’ divorce is getting uglier by the day.

The rapper, whose real name is Jay Jenkins, filed for divorce from the TV personality in September to end their two-year marriage

In his filing, Jeezy stated he and Jeannie Mai were “currently living in a bona fide state of separation,” and that their marriage was “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.”

Jeannie Mai appeared to be devastated by the divorce and went dark on social media for a month.

Meanwhile, Jeezy appeared to be taking things in stride with public appearances, concerts, and he released his new album titled, I Might Forgive…But I Don’t Forget

In his widely acclaimed sit-down interview with Nia Long, the rapper said, “As I sit here at 46… I can’t honestly tell you that I’ve experienced love, especially not unconditional.”

He further revealed, “The divorce has not been an easy journey. I can tell you that I’m sad, disappointed, and uneasy.

Is Jeannie Mai Gatekeeping Visitation?

Sadly, the divorce journey made a left turn for Uglyville last week after Jeezy filed court documents in Fulton County Georgia asking a judge to set “clearly defined” temporary legal and physical custody rights regarding their baby girl, Monaco Mai Jenkins

According to his filing, Jeezy accused Jeannie Mai of acting “as a gatekeeper when it comes to him exercising parenting time with Monaco.”

He said both parties had “agreed upon a visitation schedule through the end of 2023.” However, the situation had become “increasingly less feasible” over time.

“The lack of consistency, continuity and stability inherently associated with such a haphazard and fluid parenting time schedule is stressful to the Child (Monaco), and it has, as is unfortunately inevitable with all families in transition, created unnecessary tension and confusion regarding not only parenting time but also in regard to each parent’s role and rights when the Child is in their respective custody,” the document read.

Jeezy Said ‘Real N— Don’t Cheat’

Jeannie Mai slid down to Fulton County Georgia to make a filing of her own.

She and Jeezy entered into a prenuptial agreement on March 26, 2021, and Jeannie is taking the court to enforce the infidelity clause of the agreement that states, “in the event that either party engages in sexual relations, an emotional relationship, or is emotionally or sexually suggestive in communication with a third party via all forms of electronic communication, including but not limited to, texting, sexting, Facetiming, social media and/or Direct Messages, shall result in a significant financial penalty upon the adulterous party as specified in said Prenuptial Agreement.”

Jeannie also stated that she is “entitled to a divorce from Husband on the grounds that the marriage is irretrievably broken,” and that she “does not wish to specify herein at this time in the hope this matter can be resolved without having to disclose such conduct publicly.”

That’s her way of telling Jeezy to keep it cute before she spills the beans.

Jeezy who confidently professed, “Real n— don’t cheat,” during his sit down with Nia Long, is denying any cheating on his behalf.

A rep for the rapper told People magazine, “Any claim of infidelity on Mr. Jenkins behalf are 100% false and he has no further statements at this time.”
