I think it’s time to pull out the bubble wrap for Jay Leno

Just two months after his face was burned in a freak car fire, the legendary comedian revealed he’s on the mend after suffering several broken bones because of a motorcycle accident on January 17.

During an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the 72-year-old shared:

“That was the first accident. OK? Then just last week, I got knocked off my motorcycle. So I’ve got a broken collarbone. I’ve got two broken ribs. I’ve got two cracked kneecaps.”

Jay Leno went on to explain that he was testing a 1940 Indian motorcycle when he notice the scent of leaking gas and wanted to pull over and ended up getting tripped by a wire in the worst way!

“So I turned down a side street and cut through a parking lot, and unbeknownst to me, some guy had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it. So, you know, I didn’t see it until it was too late. It just clotheslined me and, boom, knocked me off the bike. The bike kept going, and you know how that works out.”

Jay didn’t want the news of his accident to e public considering he just had an accidental injury not that long ago.

“You know, after getting burned up, you get that one for free,” he said. “After that, you’re Harrison Ford, crashing airplanes. You just want to keep your head down.”

Yep. I think it’s time to schedule a fitting for Jay Leno’s bubble wrap suit.

Sending up prayers for Jay to have a full and speedy recovery.
