Keith Lee recently shared that he walked out of Kandi Burruss‘ Old Lady Gang restaurant in Atlanta after becoming frustrated with their service.
The former MMA fighter, who has become a viral and trusted social media food critic, was in Atlanta over the weekend for the One Music Festival.
But, Keith had the city’s janky restaurant industry in shambles with his honest and sincere reviews of their food and service.
Keith Lee Frustrated With Kandi Burruss’ Old Lady Gang
In a recent TikTok video, Keith Lee shared that someone connected to Kandi Burruss approached him at the One Music Festival and said that they had been trying to contact him to invite him to Old Lady Gang.
Keith took them up on the invite and went to the OLG with his family.
Typically, when going to restaurants, Keith will attempt to place a takeout order first to maintain his anonymity while reviewing the food and service.
But, he says they called the number on Yelp three times with no answer.
They attempted to order via Door Dash and it said Old Lady Gang was temporarily closed.
So, they went to OLG and Keith Lee sent his family inside to place an order.
Unfortunately, Keith’s family was told that they could not place a takeout order because it was the weekend and they were busy.
So, they switched the plan and Keith was going to have his family dine in and then bring him some food to taste and review.
However, his family was told there was an hour to an hour and a half wait to be seated and they were not accepting reservations.
At this point, Keith Lee decided to go inside the restaurant himself.
After taking a few pics with fans, Keith was told his table was ready.
Keith Lee, who is adamant about being treated just like other paying customers, asked about the wait time and was told one hour to an hour and a half.
So, he inquired as to why a table miraculously became available within five minutes for him.
The hostess responded, “Nobody on the waitlist I called came so…now it’s whoever first come, first serve.”
But, Keith’s family just…you get the picture, right?
Keith told the hostess he and his family changed their mind about eating there and he gave her a “God Bless You” before walking out.
