Update #2: Drew Sidora has filed an amended divorce complaint where she offered a CarFax of Ralph Pittman’s violations during the marriage including:
- Blatant disrespect and mental abuse
- Infidelity – received screenshots from women who were sexting Ralph
- Physical aggression
- Withdrew a large sum of money out of her bank account
Drew is seeking primary physical and joint legal custody of their two children together.
Update #1: It appears Drew Sidora is the one who filed for divorce…first.
The singer and reality TV star actually filed her divorce petition in Gwinnett County court 61 minutes before her soon-to-be ex-husband, Ralph Pittman.
In her petition, Drew noted that their union was “irretrievably broken,” but she added that she “reserves the right to add additional grounds for divorce” if he doesn’t keep it cute.
She also listed their date of separation as February 23. Ralph listed his D.O.S. as February 19.
The initial report (below), states Ralph filed for divorce. At the time I didn’t know it was a runoff to the courthouse.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Drew Sidora will soon be a divorcee after her husband, Ralph Pittman, filed for divorce to end their nine-year marriage.
Ralph filed the divorce petition on Monday and listed the couple’s date of separation as last Thursday (February 23) and noted that “there is no chance or hope of reconciliation.”
Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman tied the knot in August 2014 and welcomed their son Machai 10 months later.
The couple would welcome their second child, Aniya in February 2018.
Drew Sidora is also a proud mother to her 11-year-old son, Josiah, from a previous relationship.
She previously shared, “Josiah’s biological father was in prison when Ralph and I met and Ralph took my heart because he really loved my son.”
Unfortunately, whatever issues were going on in Drew’s marriage to Ralph were highlighted and exacerbated by reality TV cameras.
Last year, Drew discovered suspicious text messages between her husband and his assistant (who was later fired).
She told the RHOA cameras, “Finding out my husband was getting close with his assistant was really hard for me. I packed up my kids and we went to Chicago. I literally ran away from home.”
During the Season 14 Reunion Show, Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman opened up about couples therapy.
Last June, Drew told BET that she and Ralph were going to continue to fight for their marriage.
I thought it was like Cinderella like a happily ever after and so we thought that’s what it was going to be. My parents who have been married for like 60 years made it look so easy.
I’m in a situation where we have children, we’re moving to a new city — life is happening and people are growing as well as changing.
It’s hard because sometimes you’re like, do I need to stay in this marriage or am I better off by myself?
Then I think to myself when two people commit and you keep committing to each other, what can we do to fix this? You’re switching counselors to find the right one — but we’re committed and I think that’s what keeps people together.
Sadly, it appears Ralph Pittman has thrown in the towel on his marriage to Drew Sidora.
It was all good two weeks ago, as the couple celebrated Ralph’s 40th birthday and partied the night away.
