DomiNque Perry took to social media on Friday and released a statement after her daughter’s father, Sarunas Jackson, was accused of abusing women.
Keke Palmer‘s mother, Sharon Palmer, called Sarunas out on his hypocrisy after he took to Twitter on Thursday evening and commented on his brother, Darius Jackson‘s domestic violence drama with Keke.

Sharon said, “He taught his brother how to be abusive. So, he don’t get to act like he’s this special guy. No, you’re a f— bio and you’re a part of the problem!
As the drama unfolded in the streets of social media, DomiNque Perry took to her Instagram Story and posted the popular gif of Michael Jackson in the movie theater eating popcorn.
Many felt the post was inappropriate and disrespectful towards Keke.
In the statement posted via Instagram, DomiNque clarified that she would never laugh at a victim of abuse.
She went on to allude that she has her very own story to tell but noted that she may not get as many listeners or supporters because she’s not at the “highest platform” of her career.
DomiNque Perry noted “God is in control of my steps and I’ll respond accordingly. I will be vindicated in his timing.”

You may recall that DomiNque Perry and Sarunas Jackson co-starred in Issa Rae’s hit HBO series, “Insecure.”
Shortly after leaving the series, DomiNque began dating Sarunas.
The two of them quietly welcomed a baby girl, Zen Jackson, in 2018.
Sarunas later revealed he was a “bit aggravated” when the public found out he was the father of DomiNque’s child.
Being a private person, when the news came out that me and DomiNque had our baby girl Zen … I don’t want to say it affected my personal life.
I did have a day where I was a bit aggravated. I didn’t mind the positivity, but there’s a lot of ignorant people out there. So there were comments made, whether it was about the baby or the mother of my child or me.
My advice to DomiNque Perry is there is no time like the present and the truth will set you free.
