D’Angelo will be on the next Verzuz battle at the Apollo Theatre, but the format appears to be changing a bit because he will be there with his friends.
According to a Verzuz Instagram post, on February 27th D’Angelo and friends will be gracing the stage at the Apollo Theatre for a Verzuz performance.

We are not sure if the Verzuz format is changing, but the fact that there is not a specific artist slated to battle D’Angelo led us to speculate.
Based off of the Instagram post, do you think Verzuz is changing their format for D’Angelo?
Personally, I would like to see D’Angelo battle another artist like Musiq Soulchild as opposed to a D’Angelo virtual concert with his friends.
