The Dalai Lama has issued an apology after a video of him acting inappropriately with a little boy sparked outrage.

The 87-year-old spiritual leader was at an event in the hillside city of Dharamshala in February when a young boy approached him and asked, “Can I hug you?”

The Dalai Lama invites the boy to the stage and then points to his cheek and says, “First here,” prompting the child to give him a kiss.

Then, the spiritual leader points to his lips and says, “Then, I think finally here also.”

He then kisses the child on the mouth.

A few seconds later, he says, “And suck my tongue,” before sticking out his tongue.

After his actions sparked outrage, a statement was released on Monday saying that the Dalai Lama “wishes to apologize to the boy and his family, as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.”

The statement adds that he “regrets” the incident.

“His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras,” the statement said.

Nah. We’re not brushing this off as playful energy.

Nope Dalai Lama

Cardi B took to social media to address the incident saying that the world is full of predators.

This world is full of predators.

They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children.

Predators could be our neighbors, our school teachers, even people wit money, power & our churches.

Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.

Cardi received pushback from someone who advised her to watch her words.

She responded:

I don’t gotta watch my words…

I know exactly wat I mean from the time you start potty training your kids you should tell them DONT LET nobody touch your privates, enter the bathroom wit you and don’t keep no secrets away from mommy…

You took one word to try to make debate …DRINK YOUR COFFEE
