Judge Lynn Toler is grieving the recent passing of her husband Eric Mumford, who died days before Christmas (Dec 23, 2022).
He was 71.
The ex-“Divorce Court” judge and “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” counselor said she is shattered “in a million pieces” in a social media post.
During an appearance on the “Hardly Initiated” podcast, Judge Toler recalled her last time seeing her husband.
She was on the treadmill as he was leaving the house and the two said goodbye to each other.
Hours later she received a phone call telling her that her husband was in critical condition in the hospital.
Her son drove her to the emergency room, but Eric had passed before they arrived.
Lynn Toler and Eric Mumford first met in 1986 and married in 1989.
During their marriage, Judge Toler and Eric Mumford welcomed two sons, William Mumford and Xavier Mumford.
Eric, lovingly known as “Big E” was already a dedicated father to four children from his previous marriage.
Toler, who is the author of “My Mother’s Rules: A Practical Guide to Becoming an Emotional Genius” has been candid about their rocky relationship and the effort required to overcome their differences.
Through effective communication and mutual understanding, Lynn and Eric managed to strengthen their bond.
Judge Toler emphasized the importance of being “consciously married,” a mindful approach to navigating the complexities of marriage.
Watch a clip from Judge Toler’s 2018 interview on “The Breakfast Club” when she gave the scoop on her husband’s unshakable qualities.
The couple experienced over 30 years of marriage, marked by shared joys and struggles.
Toler often showcased their family life on social media, offering glimpses into their cherished moments together.
The loss of Big E has left a void in Lynn’s life.
But his memory will continue to live on in her heart forever.
As she navigates this difficult time, Lynn remains grateful for the years of love and companionship they shared.
Please keep Lynn Toler and the Mumford family uplifted in prayer during this difficult time.
My sincerest condolences and prayers to them.
