Cardi B took to Twitter on Wednesday with disappointing news for her fans.
Page Six reported the Grammy Award-winning rapper was set to drop a new song next week with a “top male” Hip Hop artist.
The outlet reported:
While details of the upcoming single are being kept under wraps, we hear it will feature a “top male artist in the hip hop game” who is super “relevant” at the moment.
Cardi B let the Bardigang down easy when she tweeted:
BARDIGANG I don’t wanna gas y’all and put a battery in yall back ….so I’m going to be the one to tell y’all what @PageSix wrote is not true…

In May, Cardi updated her fans letting them know she is working on her new album, however, she’s been experiencing technical difficulties that are slowing up her progress.
I really had technical difficulties with my latest project. I had not one, not two, but like three technical difficulties on the music that I’ve been working on,.
[That] had to be done and taken care of before I put it out. When things come out, that’s when I’mma talk about it.
While her music may be delayed, Cardi’s first Reebok collection of 2022 will be on time for its June 17 release.
