Bill Cosby plans to hit the road and go on tour in 2023.
The 85-year-old legendary comedian and actor shared the news during an interview with Scott Spears on “WGH Talk” on Wednesday (December 28).
Bill Cosby was convicted in Pennsylvania in April 2018 of a criminal sexual assault charge and served nearly three years in prison.
He was released in 2021 after his conviction was overturned by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Bill told Scott, “When I come out of this, I feel that I will be able to perform and be the Bill Cosby that my audience knows me to be.”
When asked about a possible tour in 2023, Bill Cosby responded, “Yes. Yes, because there’s so much fun to be had in this storytelling that I do. Years ago, maybe 10 years ago, I found it was better to say it after I write it.”
Andrew Wyatt, the rep for Mr. Cosby said they are “looking at spring/summer to start touring.”
Unfortunately, the accusations against Bill are still coming.
In early December, five more women filed a new sexual assault lawsuit against NBC and Bill Cosby.
Four women alleged that he either raped them or forced them into sex acts in the late 80s or 1990.
The fifth allegation involves Cindra Ladd, a former Hollywood executive who accused Cosby of raping her in 1969.
