Apple TV+ has just dropped the trailer for “Bad Monkey,” a comedy series that’s bound to make waves.
This highly anticipated show comes from the creative mind of award-winning executive producer Bill Lawrence, known for his work on “Ted Lasso” and “Shrinking.”
Starring the multifaceted Vince Vaughn, who also steps in as an executive producer, “Bad Monkey” is set to premiere globally on August 14, 2024, with the first two episodes.
Following the premiere, new episodes will be released every Wednesday through October 9.
About ‘Bad Monkey’
Adapted from Carl Hiaasen’s New York Times bestselling novel, “Bad Monkey” follows the quirky adventures of Andrew Yancy (played by Vaughn).
Yancy, once a Miami Police Department officer, finds himself demoted to a health inspector in the Florida Keys.
His mundane new role takes a dramatic turn when tourists reel in a severed human arm.
Sensing an opportunity to reclaim his former glory by proving a murder, Yancy plunges into an investigation filled with eccentric Floridian characters and, of course, a troublesome monkey.

Adding to the excitement are guest stars Zach Braff (“Scrubs”), Ashley Nicole Black (“Ted Lasso”), Scott Glenn (“The Leftovers”), and Charlotte Lawrence making her television debut.
