The cast is amazing!
In addition to Amanda and Tom, who are a dynamic duo onscreen together, “The Crowded Room” also stars Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane, Will Chase, and Lior Raz.
Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski, and Zachary Golinger guest star in the series.
Tom Holland puts on an acting clinic in “The Crowded Room,” but it took a toll on him.
His portrayal of Danny Sullivan, who is suffering from multiple personality disorder, will solidify the 27-year-old actor as one of the greats.
Tom, who also produced the limited series, admitted that he had a “tough time” while working on this project.
I’m no stranger to hard work.
I’ve lived by the idea that hard work is good work. Then again, the show did break me.
There did come a time where I needed a break and disappeared and went to Mexico for a week and had time on a beach and laid low.
I’m now taking a year off, and that is a result of how difficult this show was.
I am excited to see how it turns out. I feel like our hard work wasn’t in vain.
It was a tough time, for sure.
Tom Holland revealed he had a meltdown while shooting “The Crowded Room” and almost shaved his head.
The actor told Entertainment Weekly, that he had a “bit of a meltdown” after being unable to switch the character off.
I was seeing myself in him, but in my personal life.
I remember having a bit of a meltdown at home and thinking, like, ‘I’m going to shave my head. I need to shave my head because I need to get rid of this character.’
And, obviously, we were mid-shooting, so I decided not to… It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before.
In the end, it appears it may have all been worth it.
Tom took to Instagram writing:
Feeling blessed for all THE CROWDED ROOM love ❤️

Episodes 8,9 and 10 really take the show to new heights.
I can’t wait to hear what you all think, and thank you again ❤️

One thing is for certain…when Tom Holland put us on notice that episodes 8, 9, and 10 “really take the show to new heights” – he said what he said and he meant it!
After taking a week to collect myself after Episode 8…Episode 9 dropped and gutted me again.
