50 Cent’s ‘Black Mafia Family’ Series Greenlit At Starz

If they hate…then let em hate and watch the money pile up!

50 Cent has received the green light from Starz to move forward with his “Black Mafia Family” series based on the infamous BMF crime family.

The Hip Hop star-turned-entertainment mogul will executive produce the series and “Star” and “Power” producer Randy Huggins will serve as a writer.

Black Mafia Family” is inspired by the true story of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, two brothers from southwest Detroit, who birth one of the most infamous crime families in the country in the late 1980s.

50 Cent gushed:

I told you ‘Black Mafia Family’ was coming and it’s going to be the biggest show on television. Meech and Terry are legends and I am excited to bring their story to Starz.
