Jerrod Carmichael is trending in the streets of Twitter as people react to his No F**ks Given approach to hosting the 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

The 35-year-old Emmy Award-winning comedian opened up the awards by addressing the lack of diversity controversy with the Hollywood Foreign Press that drove the show right off of the air.

Jerrod kicked it off saying, “I’ll tell you why I’m here: I’m here ‘cause I’m Black.”
