In today’s Young Thug news… his attorney has filed a motion pushing for bond saying the rapper is “languishing” in jail.

Languishing means to become feeble, weak, enervated, in a state of depression, or decreasing vitality.

According to the attorney, the 31-year-old rapper, whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, is unable to stay healthy while incarcerated.

The motion also states Young Thug has limited healthy food options and often relies on eating chocolate and potato chips.

The attorney is asking the court to grant a bond considering the conditions that can be imposed to permit the bond to be set.

Watch the news report below.

In May 2022, Young Thug was arrested and charged with participating in a criminal street gang, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act.

The 88-page indictment, filed in Fulton County, includes a list of 181 crimes going back as far as 2013 and characterizes YSL as a street gang and a record label.

The indictment also includes the rapper’s lyrics which will be used against him as an admission of his alleged criminal activities.

Jury selection in the case began in January and it has been a judicial circus of shenanigans, tomfoolery, and chaos

Do you think the court will grant Young Thug a bond?
