Young Bleed Hospitalized After No Limit Vs. Cash Money Verzuz Battle
Prayers up for Baton Rouge legend Young Bleed, who’s currently in the ICU after suffering a serious medical emergency just days after lighting up ComplexCon during the No Limit vs. Cash Money Verzuz battle with his signature track, “How Ya Do Dat There.”
The 47-year-old rapper, whose real name is Glenn Clifton Jr., had the crowd on their feet celebrating Southern rap history as two Louisiana powerhouses went head to head.
But soon after the event, shocking reports surfaced that Bleed had been hospitalized, and social media was flooded with rumors about his condition.
Family Speaks Out Against False Reports
Things got messy when bogus outlets falsely pronounced Young Bleed dead.
Thankfully, his sister, Tedra, stepped up to set the record straight, confirming he’s alive and fighting in the ICU.
She issued a strong message on behalf of the family, asking the public to stop spreading misinformation and “RIP” posts.

His mother also shared that she’s been overwhelmed with calls and social media messages from people mourning prematurely.
The family’s message was firm: stop the rumors, pray instead.
Master P Confirms Young Bleed Is Still Fighting
Master P took to Instagram to update fans and rally support for his longtime collaborator.
“@snoopdogg and I were just talking about how we have to love each other while we here,” he wrote.
“We just turned up with our brother @therealyoungbleed at @verzuztv. Thanks for all y’all prayers, and we need more for him and his family as he fights in ICU.”

The moment was especially emotional considering Young Bleed’s history with No Limit Records and the unity displayed during the Verzuz celebration.
Fans were thrilled to see legends like Master P and Snoop Dogg honoring their Southern roots, but the energy quickly shifted to concern once the news broke.
