Paramount Network has finally announced a premiere date for the final episodes of “Yellowstone” Season 5 – but the wait isn’t over.
The second half of the Dutton family saga is set to premiere in November 2024 thanks to the writers and actors strikes.
Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios said, “Within five years, we grew ‘Yellowstone’ from a hit U.S. cable show with five million viewers into a global hit franchise with over 100 million fans around the world and multiple extensions — and we’re just getting started.”
McCarthy went on to announce two forthcoming spinoffs from Taylor Sheridan. (5 Taylor Sheridan Shows You Should Be Watching)
“On the heels of 1883 and 1923’s success, our new planned spinoffs, 1944 and 2024, will take audiences on a thrilling, new and unexpected journey with the complex and compelling storytelling that has become a hallmark of the franchise and has helped turn it into a worldwide cultural phenomenon thanks to the creative mastermind of Taylor Sheridan.”
Now, don’t get your hopes up expecting to see a lot of Kevin Costner in the final episodes of “Yellowstone.”
During his divorce proceedings, the actor said Paramount “walked away” from negotiations.
“I couldn’t help them anymore. We tried to negotiate, they offered me less money than previous seasons, there were issues with the creative.”
Are you excited to finally get closure on the “Yellowstone” saga – even though you have to wait a year for it?
