Atasha Chizaah Jefferson, more widely recognized as Tommie Lee from “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” was arrested outside the famed Club LIV in Miami Beach on Monday.
The incident, which led to a battery charge, occurred around 2:20 a.m. at 4441 Collins Ave.
According to the Miami Beach Police Department, officers responded to a call and found the 39-year-old aspiring rap artist being held with her arms behind her back by the victim, a man who claimed not to know her.
The victim recounted to the police that Tommie approached him “in a very close proximity” and attempted to place an unidentified item in his hand.
When he refused the item and attempted to ignore her, Tommie Lee allegedly became agitated and poked him in the face.
“Out of nowhere, she just came up and tried to hand me something. I didn’t take it, and then she just got mad and poked me,” the victim stated in the arrest report.
The victim’s quick reaction to the poke resulted in him restraining Tommie Lee by holding her arms behind her back until the authorities arrived.
Surveillance footage reviewed by the police corroborated the victim’s account, showing the entire interaction and confirming his story.
Tommie was subsequently arrested on a battery charge and taken to jail without further incident.
