Beyoncé’ and Solange Knowles’ mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, is the latest celebrity to fall victim to the Los Angeles burglary crews.
Thieves stole a safe out of Mama Tina’s Hollywood Hills home containing more than $1 million in cash and jewels.
The 69-year-old entrepreneur was out of town at the time of the burglary.
It’s unclear how thieves were able to enter Tina Knowles-Lawson’s home, but they were able to remove the safe and all of its contents.
A law enforcement source, who was not authorized to discuss the investigation said the theft was likely not random and burglars were given information by someone who knew about the high-value items in the safe.
This isn’t the first incident at Mama Tina’s home.
In April, a man was arrested after damaging her mailbox.
The good is no one was harmed and the items and cash can be replaced.
The news of the robbery comes days after Tina Knowles-Lawson took to social media with a message about not allowing anything to break her soul.
She wrote:
My niece sent this to me this morning!!! She said it inspires her to fend off the haters when they try to get to her. . . I recorded it months ago.
But I needed to see this old post myself today!! I refuse to let anything break my soul!
I will live my life to the fullest! I will continue to treat people the way I want to be treated!
I will be as happy and healthy as God intends for me! I will always put God first.
I will learn from my mistakes and I will continue to be an optimist!
Above all I will not let anyone Break My Soul. ❤️How about you ?
