The Washington Football Team Hires Jason Wright As NFL’s First Black President

The Washington Football Team has hired Jason Wright as the team’s president making him the first Black president of an NFL team. 

The team, who has been Harlem Shaking in a pot of controversy over their name for most of the year, has changed the conversation and the National Football League in a major way!

Jason, who had a seven-year career in the NFL before he became a businessman, will be responsible for the business side of the organization, including operations, finance, sales, and marketing, according to a statement from the Washington organization.

In addition to being the first black president of an NFL team, Jason is also the youngest president of an NFL team at 38.
