Taye Diggs and his girlfriend Apryl Jones have become one of social media’s most favorite couples.
From their hilarious shenanigans to their sweet expressions of love for one another – it truly is a joy to watch.
During a recent appearance on the “Tamron Hall” show, the former “All American” star revealed his late mother sent him a sign telling him Apryl was “the one.”
Taye Diggs told Tamron:
I had a friend of mine, who is a psychic, that hadn’t seen me in months. And she texted me out of nowhere – I was at Apryl’s house – and out of nowhere I got the text, ‘She’s the one.’
So, I didn’t know what she meant so then I put a question mark.
And she said, ‘You’re seeing somebody now, right?’ And I said, ‘Yes.’
And she said, ‘She’s the one.’ This is all through text. ‘Your mother sent her for you and she’s painting a picture of her right now.’
So, then I ran straight to church! (He joked)
No, it was the opposite. We both just started crying and whatnot.
I know there are times when I’m like, ‘Mama, are you sure you wanted me with her?’
No, so that was something very special at the opening…when we were starting out.

Taye Diggs’ mother, Marcia Ann Berry, transitioned to her heavenly home on November 28, 2019.
She was described as a “fabulously kind and brilliant person” who loved music, singing, dancing, and theater.
Taye and Apryl Jones have been dating for two years.
According to Taye Diggs, their romance began after he slid into Apryl’s DMs to respond to a funny Instagram Story she posted about motherhood.
The couple later went Instagram official and the rest is history!
Initially, they seemed like an unlikely pairing, but now I believe they are perfect for each other.
And apparently, Taye Diggs’ mother does too!
