Nicki Minaj now says her family in Trinidad has been forced to hide out due to being harassed as a result of her tweets about the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Queen of the Barbs has been getting lambasted on social media, in headlines, and she’s been a constant talking point after she was accused of promoting vaccine hesitancy among her fans.
On Friday, Nicki took to her IG Story and shared screenshots of WhatsApp messages her family received from a very persistent journalist from the Guardian Media that felt threatening in nature.

Nicki Minaj went on to post:
Threatening my family Trinidad won’t bode well for you. ????
They’re forcing my faming to have to hide out. This is what speaking up looks like. Millions of poor people are treated this way by the ppl you think are the “good guys”. This is unconscionable.
From there, Nicki posted the name and photos of the journalist who was harassing her family.
She wrote:
B**CH YOUR DAYS ARE F**KING NUMBERED YOU DIRTY HOE.
She also posted the journalist’s phone number with the caption:
B**ch pick up ya phone hoe.
While I understand Nicki Minaj’s anger about her family being harassed, she is now treading into dangerous territory because she is now making threats of her own on a social media platform.
It is so unfortunate that her tweets have turned into this circus.
