Stefon Diggs At The Center Of Paternity Dispute
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is in the spotlight after model Aileen Lopera, also known as Lord Gisselle, filed court documents accusing him of fathering her baby girl, born this past April.
Lopera first filed paperwork in December 2024, while still pregnant, to establish a parental relationship.
She requested full legal and physical custody but agreed to visitation rights for Diggs.
Her daughter was later named Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, carrying the NFL star’s last name.
Her attorney, Tamar G. Arminak, told PEOPLE, “My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles.”
Stefon Diggs’ Legal Response
Diggs, 31, has denied the claim and requested genetic testing to confirm whether he is the child’s father.
In his legal response, he also stated that if paternity is proven, he would seek joint custody and shared financial responsibility for pregnancy, birth, and legal expenses.
The NFL player is already a father to an 8-year-old daughter named Nova, born in 2016.
Cardi B’s Pregnancy Announcement
The timing of this news comes just as Diggs’ girlfriend, Cardi B, revealed that she is pregnant with her fourth child and expecting her first with Diggs.
In an interview with Gayle King for “CBS Mornings,” Cardi said she feels strong and powerful while preparing for motherhood again, all while gearing up for her tour in February.
The rapper is mom to three children with her estranged husband Offset; Kulture Kiari, 7, Wave Set, 4, and Blossom Belle, born in September 2024.

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have been linked since late 2024 but didn’t make their public debut as a couple until May 2025 when they were spotted together at Madison Square Garden during a Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game.
Their relationship was confirmed more definitively when Cardi shared her pregnancy news, saying, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space.”
