Stacy Osei-Kuffour is making history during Black History Month.

The “Watchmen” writer has been tapped to script the Mahershali Ali-led Blade reboot making her the first Black woman to write a Marvel Studios feature film.

Marvel was very intentional in their diversity efforts when it came to this project as they only considered people of color to script the film.

This news is especially exciting following the news of Nia DaCosta being tapped to direct Captain Marvel 2, making her the studios’ first Black woman director.

Yass Queens!

Congratulations.
