Southwest Airlines bans Courney Drummond arrested for assault gate agent

Southwest Airlines has banned a man who was arrested and charged with assaulting a gate agent earlier this week.

Courney Drummond, 44 of Henderson, Nevada was arrested on Tuesday on charges of battery, simple battery, and obstructing an officer, according to the Atlanta Police Department.

It all began when Drummond refused to comply with flight attendants as the plane taxied from the gate to the tarmac.

Due to his “aggressive behavior,” the plane was forced to return to the gate and Drummond was escorted off of the flight.

Video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, shows Courney Drummond walking away from the gate.

Then, he turns around and announces he “needs the fade” because he missed his flight to see his son.

Drummond approaches a male Southwest Airlines agent and punches him in the face.

Welp. I’m sure Courney’s arrest for his senseless act of violence delayed seeing his son even longer.
