Sony Sets ‘The Equalizer 3’ For 2023 Release

Sony Pictures announced a release date for The Equalizer 3.

The highly anticipated sequel, starring Denzel Washington, will open in theaters on September 1, 2023. 

While promoting The Tragedy of Macbeth, an Apple TV+ film that scored Denzel another Oscar nomination, he shared his excitement about reprising his role as Robert McCall and “getting to beat people up again.”

They have written the third Equalizer, so I’m scheduled to do that. 

So, I gotta get in shape and start beating people up again. I get to beat people up again. 

The Tragedy of Macbeth and the going and beating some people up.

Can’t get any better, right?

Antoine Fuqua, who also directed the first two installments of the franchise will return to helm the third. 

I will be on time for The Equalizer 3?
