I am elated to report “Snowfall” star Angela Lewis is pregnant.

The 34-year-old actress who plays the role of “Aunt Louie” in the hit John Singleton series, is expecting her second child with her husband, J. Mallory McCree

Baby McCree is slated to arrive this summer and will join big sister, Brooklyn, who is three.

The forthcoming addition came as a bit of a surprise to Angela, who shared:

We weren’t trying but we weren’t prohibiting. It was an expected unexpected blessing. Even before I had my daughter, I tried twice to have a baby and had a very early miscarriage.

I practice meditation and in my meditation I heard the message, ‘There’s nothing wrong with you. It’s just not time.’

I chose to believe that. And nine months after I heard that message, I booked Snowfall.

I was like, ‘Yo that’s crazy!’

And then it was three years after that I ended up being pregnant with my daughter.

While an amazing new blessing is on the way that will begin a new chapter for her family, Angela Lewis is closing another chapter with the sixth and final season of “Snowfall.”

I think the pregnancy mitigates the fear.

I feel very mixed about the closing of the Snowfall chapter.

I’m happy to be moving on and excited about all the things that are coming for myself and for my other cast mates and crew.

I think we all have very bright futures. But I’m sad to say goodbye.

It was just last week that Angela took to social media to share that she misses John Singleton.

She shared a group photo of the late director and cast members from “Snowfall” with the caption, “Missing our fearless leader everyday. #snowfallfx

The final season of “Snowfall” premieres on February 22.

I’m interested to see how Aunt Louie’s story will end.

Congratulations to Angela Lewis on all of the blessings in her personal life as well as her career.
