Apple TV+ Drops The “Slow Horses” Season 5 Trailer
Apple TV+ just released the official trailer for “Slow Horses” Season 5, and it’s already giving us plenty to talk about.
The Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning spy drama is back with six new episodes, premiering September 24, 2025, with new installments dropping weekly until October 29.
Adapted from Mick Herron’s novel London Rules, the story continues to follow the lovable yet chaotic outcasts of Slough House, the place where MI5 sends agents who’ve messed up their careers.
Gary Oldman, who has racked up Emmy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations for his brilliant take on Jackson Lamb, returns as the grumpy genius at the center of it all.
What To Expect In Season 5
This season, tech whiz Roddy Ho suddenly shows up with a glamorous new girlfriend, but something about her feels off.
When strange and unsettling events begin to unfold across London, it’s up to the “Slow Horses” to connect the dots. As Lamb would say, in the world of espionage, the London Rules always apply: cover your back and trust no one.
The star-studded cast is back, including Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Ruth Bradley, James Callis, Tom Brooke, and Jonathan Pryce.
Plus, “Ted Lasso” favorite Nick Mohammed joins as a special guest star, adding even more intrigue to the mix.
A Critically Acclaimed Spy Series
If you haven’t watched “Slow Horses” yet, now’s the time to get on board.
Critics have called it one of the best spy series on television, and for good reason.
With multiple Certified Fresh seasons and two that scored a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, the show has become a global favorite.
Season 3 picked up nine Emmy nominations, including a win for Outstanding Writing, while season four pulled in five more nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor.
Apple TV+ clearly knows they have a gem because the streamer has already announced seasons 6 and 7 are on the way.
And in case you need a refresher or a full binge, the first four seasons of “Slow Horses” are available to stream now.
