Actor Siddiq Saunderson, who plays Ghostface Killah on the Hulu series, “Wu-Tang: An American Saga,” recently chopped it up with GMA about what to expect from season 2.
Siddiq said season 2 would be more about the group coming together as the Wu-Tang Clan and working on the iconic 36 Chambers album.
During the interview, Siddiq also revealed he had quit his job at a tea shop in Los Angeles right before he got the call-back for the role of Ghostface.
I took it as a sign from God.
I was working at a tea shop called Hey Hey in Los Angeles.
And they feature artist, so this particular month when I was getting the call-backs there was a picture of the Rza, and I was like sweeping and he was looking at me, and I went to the other side of the store and he was still looking at me.
And, I kind of just took that as a sign that, you know, I needed to make space in my life for the blessing to come.
So I quit my job before I actually got the role.
