Young M.A. has reportedly checked herself into rehab to treat an unspecified addiction.
According to various reports, the 29-year-old Brooklyn rapper, whose real name is Katorah Marrero, took to social media to share the news writing:
MAB I’ll be back…boutta lose this addiction…omw to rehab.
She has since deleted the post.
Early Tuesday morning (June 22), Young M.A. appeared to be placing her life in God’s hands and seeking a change when she tweeted:
Loving God, I pray that you will comfort me in my suffering, lend skill to the hands of my healers, and bless the means used for my cure. Give me such confidence in the power of your grace, that even when I am afraid, I may put my whole trust in you.
See the original tweet below.
It’s unclear exactly what she is seeking treatment for, but many assume it may be an alcohol addiction.
Young M.A.’s most recent project is titled, Off The Yak, and on the album she raps:
Man, I’m Henny’d up, Styrofoam Call this b**ch my sippy cup High as sh*t, pissy drunk Prolly f**k my kidneys up
