Nicki Minaj Goes Live As She’s Arrested

On Saturday, May 25, Nicki Minaj took to Instagram Live after arriving at the Amsterdam airport.

The livestream clip captures a tense exchange between Minaj and an officer who accused her of “carrying drugs.”

Nicki vehemently denied the claims, stating, “I don’t have any drugs. Why would you even say that?”

Despite her protests, the officer instructed her to enter a police van.

Minaj, clearly taken aback, insisted on speaking with her lawyer before complying.

“I need to call my lawyer right now,” she said, showing her determination to handle the situation legally.

The authorities, however, seemed to offer a compromise, telling Minaj they would assist her in getting to her show but required her immediate compliance.

The clip ends with Minaj reluctantly entering the vehicle.

The Rapper Previously Spoke About Her International Tour Stop Being Sabotaged

Earlier that same day, Minaj had taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share more about her troubling experience.

Read some of Nicki’s tweets below.

She posted footage that appeared to be taken outside the airport, showing a man explaining that her luggage needed to be offloaded and searched.

The ongoing scrutiny seemed to frustrate Minaj, who hinted at a larger scheme against her successful tour.

In a series of tweets, Minaj expressed her suspicions, saying, “They’re being paid big money to try to sabotage my tour b/c soooooo many ppl are mad that it’s this successful & they can’t eat off me. They got caught stealing money from my travel/jets. Got fired. Got mad. Etc.”

This revelation followed her earlier comments about firing team members who were caught pocketing money.

Amid the tweets, Nicki Minaj also mentioned that authorities claimed to have found weed in her bags.

She clarified that the pre-rolls belonged to her security team.

“They’re trying to use this to delay me,” she said, clearly frustrated by the impact on her schedule.

The incident has caused a delay in her plans to fly to Manchester, England, for her next performance.

Nicki Minaj’s encounter with Amsterdam police has left fans and the public buzzing with concern and speculation.

The Barbs have assembled in the streets of Twitter and they are ready to head across the pond for their queen.
