Nick Cannon addressed the cancellation of his daytime talk show on Thursday while chatting with his guest, Angela Yee of “The Breakfast Club.”

On Thursday (March 10), Debmar-Mercury confirmedThe Nick Cannon Show” would not be returning for a second season.

The good news is Nick seems to be taking it all in stride and he understands it’s the business of show business.

He told Angela and his audience:

This is show business, right?

And we know the biggest word in that is business and this is a business. 

As a businessman, I know that as much fun as we have on the show, business is the thing that makes this whole thing tick and operate.

Honestly, I show up each and every day bright and early to give you a show, but I’m also a businessman and you understand when there are certain forums and platforms.

This has been a dream come true for me to be able to do this for you each and every day. 

But, I want to expand and elevate…

Nick Cannon is a businessman at heart and he has multiple streams of income from multiple gigs.
