NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was rushed to UCLA Hospital on Friday night after he accidentally fell to the floor and broke his hip.
The 76-year-old former Los Angeles Lakers star was attending a concert when the injury occurred.
According to his rep, Deborah Morales, Kareem is going to be okay and he’s “deeply appreciative” of the support he received from the Los Angeles Fire Department, who responded on-site.
Kareem is also grateful for the “amazing medical team and doctors at UCLA Hospital who are taking great care of him.”
