Mia X shared her health struggles after beating uterine cancer on a recent episode of the “Geto Boys Reloaded” podcast.
Mia looked beautiful as she candidly discussed her phantom pains and her body steadily working hard trying to restore itself.
I am taking one day at a time, and if, uh!… The Lord says the same, I will be cancer-free five years, March 23rd.
After your ill, it seems like the body really fights hard to heal itself.
And, you have other complications… You have phantom pains.
So, I had to get surgery, a complete hysterectomy, sometimes my stomach feels like everything is still there
I have like, uh!… It’s like pocket mass, there benign, but they hurt my legs sometimes and make me feel like I’m walking with leg weights.
And I still like battle fatigue.
So I deal with a lot of things that sometime your doctor tells you it’s not there it’s in your mind, but your body tells you something else.
I’m not complaining, but I will say for anyone that has ever battled cancer or has had any kind of serious illness you understand what I’m saying about the phantom pain, and how the body takes time to make you feel whole again.
It’s steadily working trying to restore itself, and deal with things that you’ve lost.
Scarface said he can relate to the phantom pain from his kidney transplant.
