Leslie Jones is she’s seriously considering ending her hilarious Olympics coverage and commentary.
The comedian and “Saturday Night Live” alum, who has been giving her raw and hilarious coverage of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, took to social media on Monday morning to say this may be the last Olympics she live tweets.
Here’s one of her classic Olympic coverage moments:
In a statement posted on her official Instagram and Twitter pages, Leslie said she is tired of fighting the folks who do not want her to do the coverage.
She also noted that her videos are being blocked and “they get folks who think they can do it like me.”
Now, I’m no rocket scientist, but I’m pretty sure she’s referring to NBC and Peacock, who skipped over her and gave Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg a show doing the very same thing.
Edited to add: Leslie did confirm NBC is the weapon formed against her.
In her statement, Leslie Jones wrote:
I’m starting to feel like this should be my last Olympics I live tweet. I know I know, another celebrity b*tching ????
But I’m tired of fighting the folks who don’t want me to do it. They block my videos and they get folks who think they can do it like me. And I’m tired of fighting them.
I love the athletes and they love me doing it. And i know y’all love it. But now it’s just gotten too hard. Soooo I guess I’ll leave it to the professionals.
But thank you for all the love. #uptoyallnow
The caption on the post read:
Leslie Jones does not stay anywhere I’m not welcomed. #uptoyallnow

Holly Robinson Peete commented on the post:
Yeah your commentary is great and you should be doing this on Peacock like snoop and Kev!!!!!!
Leslie responded:
You think Kevin and snoop give a f**k about athletes and Olympics? Honestly I think this should be my last one. Its frustrating.
Fans of Leslie’s Olympic commentary have taken to Twitter to show their support!
Rather than embracing the audience and interest Leslie Jones is creating around the Olympics with her commentary, NBC has chosen to snatch her videos over copyrights.
