LeBron James To Go Back To His #6 Jersey Next Season + Twitter Reacts

LeBron James has decided to run his #6 jersey number back next season in hopes of it bringing him and the Lakers some championship magic.

Reportedly, LeBron was going to give the #23 jersey to Anthony Davis when he joined the Lakers in 2019, but Nike said they would lose too much money so LeBron decided to wait.

It has been reported that Anthony Davis doesn’t want the #23 jersey, and he will keep his #3 jersey.

I don’t blame AD because that Jumpman number holds a lot of weight.

LBJ wears the #6 in the new Space Jam: A New Legacy movie, and at his last post-game press conference he mentioned he would be playing with the Monstars this summer.

The Monstars may be the culprits behind this number change.

The Twitterverse has expressed mixed emotions about LBJ going back to #6.

LBJ wore the #6 jersey from 2010-2014 while he was playing for the Miami Heat. The Heat won back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013.

It’s going to be amazing to see a jersey number make LeBron James 11 years younger.
