In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Jake Porter, the father of the late Kim Porter, shared his thoughts on the disturbing video showing Diddy assaulting Cassie in the hallway of a hotel.

The video, which shows Diddy kicking and throwing objects at Cassie, has left Jake Porter questioning what might have happened to his daughter during her relationship with the music mogul.
“You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that,” Porter told Rolling Stone. “It was despicable… I couldn’t believe it. I was in Vietnam, and I wouldn’t do that to my enemy.”
Jake Porter, reflecting on the time his daughter spent with Diddy, admitted that while he never witnessed such extreme violence, the video has made him wonder what Diddy might have done behind closed doors.
“I didn’t know he could stoop that low,” he said. “I imagine it surprised a lot of people. I wouldn’t even do a dog like that. My heart goes out to Cassie.”
Kim Porter, who dated Diddy from 1994 to 2007, had three children with him: Christian Combs and twin daughters Jessie Combs and D’lila Combs.
She passed away in 2018 from lobar pneumonia. (However, in light of the recent allegations against Diddy many are calling for an investigation into Kim’s passing.)
According to her father, Kim was genuinely in love with Diddy, but she could no longer live with him due to his jealousy and controlling behavior.
“I think he was a very jealous person,” Porter said. “They both loved each other. Kim’s love was legitimate. Puffy’s love, I don’t know what he calls love, you know what I mean? I really don’t think he has any idea what love is…. My only concern is the children.”
Rolling Stone’s investigation into Diddy’s past, which spanned six months and included interviews with over 50 people who knew him, painted a troubling picture of the Bad Boy Records founder.
The article revealed that Diddy was explosive, physically aggressive, and controlling.
Shakir Stewart’s Mother Speaks Out
One particularly shocking account involved the late music executive Shakir Stewart.
According to Stewart’s mother, Portia, Diddy once broke a chair over Stewart’s head in Italy due to his relationship with Kim Porter.
“He left him bleeding on a hotel floor in Italy,” Portia Stewart told Rolling Stone.
“He had to have stitches and then [Combs] threatened him … ‘I’m going to kill you’… That’s when I said you need to get out of this business. This man is crazy.”
