Kelly Clarkson has been ordered to pay her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, a hefty bag of money, nearly $200k a month since she filed for divorce last June.
A judge in her divorce recently formalized the amount, even though Kelly has been paying seed amount for slightly over a year.
According to court documents, Brandon will get $150k in spousal support and $45,601 for the two kids, amounting to nearly $200k, which is much less than the $436k a month he requested.
Kelly also has to pay Brandon’s attorney fees, which amount to $1.25 million.
Once the divorce is settled, Brandon will get 2 more years of spousal support, based on the length of their marriage.
If the judge determines their prenup is valid, Brandon will get whatever is spelled out in the prenup and the support money will be voided.
Despite her having to pay temporary child support, Kelly Clarkson was awarded primary custody of their two kids, 6-year-old River and 4-year-old Remy.
Brandon is a talent manager who currently represents Blake Shelton among others.
He married Kelly in October 2013.
Kelly filed for divorce after nearly seven years of marriage citing “irreconcilable differences.”
