Chile, it is three days later, and Taraji P. Henson mistaking Jordan Howlett for Keith Lee at the 2024 BET Awards is still a topic of conversation!

But, Keith Lee took to social media to say that he was not mad at Taraji for the mix-up.
He placed the blame on the BET Awards production team for fumbling the “extremely rushed” segment.

It appears Taraji P. Henson’s patience with the situation has run smooth out because she took to Instagram to address the situation.
Not only did she blame Keith Lee for not being in the right seat (which caused the mix-up) she noted that his “ego is hurt.”
The Oscar-nominated actress wrote:
Life really is too short for this behavior.
He wasn’t in his seat. 🤷🏾♀️
They give celebrity assigned seats!
I rehearsed all damn day to go hit my mark and that young man wasn’t in his seat so HE MISSED HIS MOMENT!
His ego is hurt. he will be fine.
I cleaned it up at the end of the show.🤷🏾♀️
