Kamala Harris, Senator and hopefully the future Vice President of the United States, is the subject of a new picture book.
Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing announced prize-winning author Nikki Grimes has written “Kamala Harris: Rooted in Justice.”
The book, released on August 25, features illustrations by Laura Freeman.
Kamala has made history as the first Black woman and the first Asian American woman named to a major party presidential ticket!
