🎙️ K. Michelle Gets Real About Tamar Braxton On “Funky Friday”

K. Michelle did not hold back during her appearance on Cam Newton’s “Funky Friday” podcast—and if you thought the drama between her and Tamar Braxton was over, think again.

In a raw and emotional sit-down, the “Love ‘Em All” singer opened up about her frustrations with the music industry, her past, and most notably—her deep-rooted issues with Tamar Braxton.

Cam kicked things off by asking K. Michelle if there’s beef among women in the industry just like there is among the men.

And that’s all the invitation she needed to go all the way in.

💥 “That Is A Muppet, Not A Woman.”

Without naming names at first, K. Michelle described an unnamed “Muppet” who’s made her life unnecessarily difficult ever since her “Love & Hip Hop” days.

But make no mistake—she was talking about Tamar Braxton.

“There was this Muppet in the corner yapping… even when Beyoncé sent me flowers… she subliminally—but not subliminal—talked about me.”

According to K. Michelle, Tamar has allegedly tried to block her from bookings, interfered with her ability to make money, and even stirred drama over men.

She claimed the ongoing tension is rooted in jealousy—taking aim at Tamar’s appearance, family dynamics, and public persona.

“All because you ain’t got no edges. All because your sister really the star… All because of the man you love trying to talk to me.”

Whew. That’s a lot to unpack.

🧏‍♀️ Women Empowerment… Or Justified Frustration?

Despite the intensity of her words, K. Michelle insisted that she’s for women supporting women.

But when Cam Newton questioned how that aligns with wanting to slap someone “on sight,” she didn’t back down.

“That is a Muppet, not a woman,” she said.

“You’re not gonna let anybody consistently keep playing with you… At some point, I have to defend myself.”

She made it clear that while she’s not promoting violence, years of being poked and prodded behind the scenes pushed her to her breaking point.
