Judge Dismisses Rape Case Against Russell Simmons, Accuser Waited Too Long To Take Action

Russell Simmons has beat a rape case filed by an anonymous accuser because she waited too long to take action. 

The woman filed a $10 million suit against Simmons in March 2018 alleging sexual battery and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Russell denied the claim calling it a “vile” extortion attempt. 

Well, a Los Angeles judge ruled in favor of the music mogul and dismissed Jane Doe’s suit claiming it fell outside the statute of limitations. 

You see, the lawsuit was filed in 2018, but the alleged assault took place in 1988.
