Jessie J is officially a “mum!”
The 35-year-old British singer-songwriter took to social media to share that she has safely delivered her baby boy via C-section.
It was just five months ago that Jessie J shared she was “happy and terrified” to announce she was pregnant with her first child, especially after suffering a miscarriage two years prior.
But, on Thursday (June 1) the “Price Tag” singer shared a super cute video of herself dancing in her hospital gown and socks just before heading into surgery to deliver her son.
In the caption, Jessie J opened up about how she did everything possible to properly prepare for a natural birth, but her baby boy wanted to come “out the roof, not the front door.”
The new mom said she was willing to surrender to whatever needed to be done to deliver her son safely.

I spent 9 months prepping for a natural birth.
Strict food, the epi no, yoga, swimming, hypnobirthing methods. I had a tens machine, a birthing comb, I wanted a pool birth ideally with no medication. BUT this was MY plan to stay disciplined and focused. I knew full well it could and would most likely go in a completely different direction.
When people asked me “So what’s your birth plan” I said “I am open to surrendering to the safest way for my baby boy to arrive”
I had a scan at a few days off of 40 weeks and he was completely the wrong way around and stuck as he was a little chunkier than your average and long. I did everything to try and turn him for 2 months but he said “Nah mum I wanna make an entrance out the roof, not the front door”.
I was advised to have a planned C section for the safest birth. This video was taken 5 minutes before I went down to surgery. I went into active labour the night before and feeling all the feels but mostly just excitement for us to meet our baby boy.
I guess I’m sharing this because so many people have said “Do you feel like you missed out on the birth you wanted?”
I had a birth and it was everything I wanted because I got him at the end of it, that’s all that matters 🤍🫧

The biggest question people have regarding Jessie J’s pregnancy is who is the father of her baby.
You may recall when she suffered her miscarriage, she opened up about having a baby “on her own.”
I decided to have a baby on my own. Because it’s all I’ve ever wanted and life is short.
To get pregnant was a miracle in itself and an experience I will never forget and I know I will have again.
Update (June 5, 2023): Jessie J just revealed her baby’s father via Instagram…and he’s a cutie!
