In a shocking turn of events, Jennifer Hough has chosen to voluntarily dismiss her harassment lawsuit against Nicki Minaj

Jennifer filed a lawsuit in New York last August claiming Nicki and her husband, Kenneth Petty, pressured her to recant her account of Kenneth sexually assaulting her in 1994.

In her lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court, Jennifer Hough, now 43, said she and her family members started receiving communications from people claiming to be connected to Nicki Minaj and her husband.

The communications allegedly began after Kenneth was arrested in California for failing to register as a sex offender.

Nicki and Kenneth are accused of witness intimidation, harassment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Jennifer’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, has confirmed that the suit was dropped against Nicki Minaj, however, the case against her husband, is still ongoing.

According to TMZ, no financial settlement was reached in regards to the case being dismissed – meaning Nicki did not pay Jennifer off to drop the case against her.

Nicki, however, does plan to go after Jennifer to recoup all of the money she paid in legal fees to fight the lawsuit.

Her attorney, Judd Burstein, sent Tyrone Blackburn a letter the reads in part:

In my view, your conduct in pursuing this case against Nicki represents the worst of our legal system: bottom-feeding lawyers who pursue frivolous actions against a celebrity assuming that they will be paid off if they throw enough dirt.

After the news of the dismissal, “We Love You, Nicki” began to trend on social media as her fans rallied around her to show their support.
