Jay Ellis is all about that Jet Life after training with Tom Cruise for the Top Gun sequel, Top Gun: Maverick.
The “Insecure” star and his castmates trained for months in multiple aircrafts, and they were even launched out of an aircraft carrier.
Reportedly, Tom Cruise, who is a licensed pilot in real life, put together the pilot training program.
Jay says he will 100% finish his pilot training and get his license after training with Tom.

Jay plays a pilot named “Payback” in the movie, and Tom plays a flight instructor named “Maverick.”
Top Gun: Maverick comes out this Friday (May 27) in the theaters.
