While sharing her new People magazine cover, Jada Pinkett Smith shared a message about the judgment and criticism she has received.
In a post on her Instagram page, the actress and author said “many women do not share the full scope of our journeys because of the feat of being criticized and judged.”
Jada went on to say that the judgment and criticism she has endured have given her the strength and the courage to share her journey.
I’ve been through the gauntlet of judgment and criticism, which has given me the courage and strength to share the journey that sits behind the curtain that we all travel in trying to figure out what this thing called life is all about.
She also shared how she hopes her forthcoming memoir will impact and empower the women who read it.
My hope with my book Worthy is that for any of you who may be stuck, hopeless or confused that my journey can offer you some oxygen, some strength to deepen your willingness to keep stepping towards your greatness.
In closing, Jada Pinkett Smith wrote:
Life is complicated but beautiful and if you are willing to take this ride with me … I think you’ll be surprised of all the love and treasures that await on the other side.
Sending you all love❣️
To preserve her peace, Jada silenced the outside noise by turning off the comments on her post.
