The IRS has announced they are pushing back the April 15 deadline to file your taxes to May 17.
The change will give taxpayers an additional month to get their 2020 tax returns filed and pay any amounts owed to the IRS.
You may recall, last year, at the height of the pandemic, the tax deadline was pushed back to July 15.
The decision was made after people called on the IRS to extend the tax season especially on the heels of the passage of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan.
Now, I can delay my annual IRS stress another 30 days.
