Brandon Dillard, who self-proclaims as Atlanta’s top veneer specialist, is facing serious legal trouble after being accused of practicing dentistry and medicine without a license.
According to the Fulton County District Attorney, Dillard has been performing veneer procedures illegally for years under the guise of legitimacy.
Dillard operates “A List Smiles Atlanta,” a company boasting 157,000 Instagram followers and offering high-end veneer services since 2021.
However, on Thursday, his Northeast Atlanta office was raided by authorities.
Criminal arrest warrants indicate that despite his claims, Dillard is not a licensed dentist and has been offering unauthorized dental services, including $5,500 veneer procedures.
The company even held raffles for these procedures, luring in patients with enticing deals.
Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Will Wooten made it clear, “Brandon Dillard is not a dentist. He’s never been a dentist. And as much as he may want to play one on Instagram, he is not one.”
District Attorney Fani Willis echoed these concerns, warning of the dangerous consequences for patients who unknowingly received veneers from an unqualified provider.
In Georgia, only licensed dentists can legally perform veneer procedures, and the consequences of improperly installed veneers can be severe.
Health complications like infections are a significant risk, and Willis reported that some local dentists, as well as out-of-state practitioners, have raised alarms about the damage caused by Dillard’s procedures.
In addition to the veneer services, Dillard allegedly charged over $6,000 to conduct training sessions for others on how to become “Veneer Specialists.”
However, the DA’s office was quick to point out that no such legal designation exists in Georgia.
Prosecutors are calling on both Dillard’s former patients and the individuals he trained to come forward.
While those trained by Dillard are currently considered victims, District Attorney Willis warned they could face criminal charges if they continue to practice without a license.

As Dillard now faces eight felony charges, including practicing dentistry without a license and theft by deception, the Fulton County DA’s office is urging anyone who has been affected to contact them via email at Fcda.fraudtips@fultoncountyga.gov.
This case is a stark reminder of the risks involved in seeking out cosmetic dental procedures from unlicensed individuals, no matter how reputable they appear online.
