ICC Interviews: ‘Anonymous Killers’ Writer/Director A.R. Hilton

Ice Cream Convos CEO Xaviera had the pleasure of chatting with A.R. Hilton, writer and director of the newly released thriller, Anonymous Killers.

A.R. hails from money-earning Mount Vernon, New York, and discovered his love for writing as a young teen.

Unfortunately, circumstances led to A.R. entering prison shortly after his 19th birthday and serving almost two decades behind bars.

While serving time, A.R. Hilton reconnected with his gift of writing and studied the greats, Ralph Ellison and James Baldwin, to hone his craft.

He wrote multiple films and began to preparing and planning his future prior to his release from prison.

A.R. would go on to release two novels, “That Life (Prophecy of a Hustler)” and “Prophecy of a Hustler II (A War of Souls)“, and he created The Death of a Prince, a short film dedicated to the memory of his young brother, who was murdered at 18-years-old.

Anonymous Killers is the newest offering from A.R. Hilton.

The indie thriller follows four seasoned killers and one hapless professor who are rounded up in one violent swoop and awake in chains to discover they are part of a demented experiment orchestrated by maniacal, mysterious captor.

To decide their fate, they must share the motives behind their crimes as they face the judgement of their peers. The rules are non-negotiable and the outcome is clear: live or die. The moral compass spins frantically as all fight to justify their lives before the final vote is cast.
