Homeless NBA G-League Hopeful Reginald Rogers Surprised With GoFundMe Account Of Nearly $29k To Pursue His Dreams

Jimmy Darts, an American social media personality who posts random acts of kindness videos may have changed homeless NBA G-League hopeful Reginald Rogers’ life forever.

Jimmy Darts started a GoFundMe for Reggie after meeting him on a basketball court.

I was walking and saw this guy playing basketball so I introduced myself and his name was Reggie.

I told him my ball had been stolen and asked if I could shoot around with him and out of the kindness of his heart he said yes for sure!

I then surprised Reggie with $500 for his kindness.

He began telling me his life story how his dream is to make it to the NBA and ever since he was 13 he had been in and out of homelessness.

His friend just passed away and Reggie has been hit with storm after storm to derail him from his dream.

Let’s raise some funds to bless Reggie with so he never has to worry about being on the streets again and can pursue his dreams!

At the time of this post, Reggie’s GoFundMe was at $28,979.

He was blown away when Jimmy told him that people around the world donated money for him to chase his dream.

Jimmy gave Reggie $500 cash, bought him some Kyrie Irving sneakers, and told him he has a contact within the G-League and he secured him a tryout.

Reggie’s G-League tryout is next month.
